Job Description Job Description We are looking for a
detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Nashville,
Tennessee. This is a contract position with the potential for

exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a
dynamic environment. Responsibilities: • Manage and oversee general
ledger accounting activities for assigned locations. • Execute
month-end closing tasks with precision and adhere to departmental
deadlines. • Prepare and post accurate journal entries to maintain
financial records. • Record accruals, allocate expenses, and
perform month-end adjustments as required. • Conduct monthly
balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Collect, analyze, and input data into general ledger systems to
support financial operations. • Maintain organized financial
records by filing accounting documents and related materials. •
Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure proper
recording of financial transactions. • Assist in the preparation of
monthly budgets, including reporting and variance analysis. •
Support year-end audit processes by compiling schedules, work
papers, and financial reports.• Minimum of 5 years of accounting
experience. • Expertise in corporate tax, sales tax, and corporate
tax returns. • Proficiency in preparing journal entries and
managing general ledger activities. • Familiarity with AS400
systems and month-end closing processes. • Strong analytical skills
to interpret and work with complex financial data. • Ability to
work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices. •
Effective communication skills to liaise with various teams and
stakeholders.
