Job Description Job Description We are looking for a skilled
Senior Accountant to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. This role
demands a detail-oriented individual with strong expertise in
managing financial records, performing reconciliations, and
ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The successful
candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining financial
accuracy and supporting strategic decision-making processes.
Responsibilities: • Prepare and review financial documents to
ensure accuracy and compliance with established standards. • Manage
accounts payable and receivable processes, including payment
processing and expense tracking. • Handle month-end closing
activities such as journal entries and schedule execution. • Set up
new projects with appropriate cost coding and maintain job cost
records. • Monitor and analyze project expenses and revenues,
providing detailed reports. • Record and maintain annual contracts
and lease agreements accurately in accounting software. • Reconcile
accounts and ensure consistency in financial reporting. •
Collaborate with management to provide insights and support for
various accounting projects and analyses. • Perform bank
reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy and integrity. •
Ensure general ledger accounts are properly recorded and updated.•
Proven experience in month-end close processes and financial
reporting. • Expertise in general ledger management and account
reconciliation. • Strong knowledge of journal entry preparation and
execution. • Familiarity with accounts payable and accounts
receivable processes. • Proficiency in tracking and analyzing
project costs and revenues. • Skilled in using accounting software
to manage contracts and leases. • Ability to perform detailed bank
reconciliations accurately. • Excellent organizational and
communication skills to support management initiatives.
