Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. A school district in Nashville, TN, is seeking a
Special Education Teacher to support students across a range of
grade levels, from Kindergarten through 12th grade. This contract
position runs from January 2026 through June 2026 and offers the
opportunity to work in self-contained classrooms, resource rooms,
and special day classrooms. Key Responsibilities: Deliver
specialized instruction tailored to students individual education
plans (IEPs) in grades K-12 Manage classroom environments that
support students social, emotional, and academic development
Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and
families to provide a comprehensive educational experience Maintain
accurate records of student progress and participate in team
meetings Qualifications: Active State Teaching License in Special
Education Experience working with students in elementary (K-5),
middle (6-8), and high school (9-12) settings Strong understanding
of special education laws, instructional strategies, and behavior
management techniques Ability to work effectively in
self-contained, resource, and special day classrooms Position
Details: Location: Nashville, TN Contract duration: January 2026
June 2026 Weekly hours: 30-37.5, 5 days per week Pay starting at
$37 per hour Student age group: Kindergarten through 12th grade
