Job Description:

Louisiana Delta Community College (LDCC) seeks an individual to serve as the Office Manager at the LSBDC Lead Center on the Monroe, LA campus. The successful applicant must possess the qualifications listed below to support the Lead Center and statewide network of Small Business Development Centers. Examples of DutiesSupports LSBDC operations by maintaining office systems Manage the day-to-day administrative activities within the State Office of the Louisiana Small Business Development Center Maintains office services by organizing office operations and procedures, reconcile timesheets, controlling correspondence, designing online filing systems, Maintains office efficiency by planning and implementing office systems, layouts and equipment procurement Completes operational requirements by scheduling and following up on Funders reports Manage statewide and national travel for State Office personnel Keeps management informed by reviewing and analyzing special reports; summarizing information; identifying trends Coordinate Statewide entrepreneurial training initiatives Assist in the administrative tasks associated with application and management of Federal and State Grants Maintain accurate records on supporting documents Assists the State Director in overseeing the compliance of policy and procedures Assists the Lead Center staff in implementing the LSBDC strategic plan Other duties as assigned Minimum QualificationsQualifications include a Bachelors Degree with significant course work in Business Administration and Information Management from an accredited 4-year university. Qualified applicant will be proficient in Microsoft applications and Google Suite, along with excellent oral and written communication skills. Qualified applicant will have 3-plus years as an Office Manager with strong organizational skills, detailed oriented and strong customer service skills. Economic Development and Grant Management experience preferred The successful candidate must also be service-oriented, promote excellence, and embrace a commitment to professionalism. Applicants should have demonstrated commitment to the philosophy and mission of Louisiana Delta Community College. Applicant should also demonstrate sensitivity to the needs of students, faculty, and staff from a variety of backgrounds.
