LifeShare Blood Center is seeking an enthusiastic Operations
Director to oversee blood collection and donor recruitment
operations in the Monroe, LA and El Dorado, AR region.
Responsibilities include: develop and implement strategic and
tactical plans for operations within the donation center and
community-based activities; direct, develop and coach teams for
achievement of established goals and KPI's; develop relationships
with community leaders and groups to promote our mission and
business needs; ensure operations adhere to standards and
regulations governing the blood banking industry, including FDA,
AABB, cGMP, and OSHA; and model LifeShare's mission and values,
integrating them into daily decisions, behaviors and actions.The
ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
and background in healthcare administration, business or operations
management, including supervisory experience in the direction and
coaching of other employees. They champion teamwork, communication

(beginning salary is $65,000 - 72,000, commensurate with

- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business
management or other related field, plus
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience, including
supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of education
and experience sufficient to perform the job duties
- Ability to become familiar with FDA regulations governing blood
banking, AABB standards, OSHA regulations and Good Manufacturing
Practices (cGMP)
- Ability to deal with the public and employees in a tactful,
professional manner, maintaining a high level of confidentiality
when appropriate
- Work involves potential exposure to infectious disease from
blood and blood products
- Requires occasional travel within the community and to other
centers; must possess a valid driver's license and be insurable by
our commercial auto insurance carrier -Since 1942, LifeShare has

facilities throughout Louisiana, east Texas, and south Arkansas in
our pursuit of excellence to achieve and maintain the highest
levels of service to donors and patients alike. Cutting edge work
in rare blood trait identification has led to LifeShare's
leadership position in providing rare blood components to patients
nationally and internationally. In 2019, LifeShare expanded to
create two new divisions -- LifeShare Tissue Services is working to
provide select tissue needs to customers, while LifeShare Cellular
Services provides clinical and research expertise to develop
material and treatments through a state-of-the-art cellular
