  🕑 4x10s - Rotating Schedule - Every Other Weekend Overview:
  We're seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join our hospital-based team on a travel contract. This role involves both operational and clinical pharmacy responsibilities, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Schedule Details:
  • Shift: 4x10 hour days
  • Rotating schedule: Shifts may vary between:
    • 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
    • 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
    • 12:30 PM - 11:00 PM
    • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend (2x10-hour shifts)
    • On-call and holiday rotation may apply Key Responsibilities: Operational Duties:
      • Prepare and dispense medications per physician orders
      • Compound sterile and non-sterile products, including chemotherapy
      • Accurately interpret and verify prescriptions and medication records
      • Oversee and direct support staff (pharmacy technicians) Clinical Duties:
        • Monitor and manage drug therapies (e.g. anticoagulation, renal dosing, pharmacokinetics)
        • Participate in antibiotic and opioid stewardship programs
        • Provide patient and staff drug education
        • Document clinical interventions and ensure medication safety and compliance
        • Attend interdisciplinary rounds and contribute to collaborative care planning Required Qualifications:
          • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or BS in Pharmacy
          • Active State Pharmacist License (must hold current licensure in practicing state)
          • BLS certification (AHA required)
          • ACLS certification (preferred)
          • Minimum 2 years of recent hospital pharmacy experience
          • Ambulatory care or clinical pharmacy experience preferred Additional Information:
