Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Vascular Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 07/21/2025 - Duration: 12 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Shift: Varying shift - 12 hour and 8 hours depending on the need. Could be 7am- 7:30pm, 7am-5:30pm, 8am-5pm Start: ASAP Type of patients on the unit: Inpatient, Outpatient and ER Must be able to perform general Ultrasound as well Job Requirements: /t 1. Graduate of an accredited Medical Sonography or Radiology Technology Program required. /t 2. 1-2 years of experience in vascular ultrasound preferred. /t 3. Registered Vascular Specialist (RSV) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) from ARDMS, CCI, or ARRT is required. /t 4. BLS is required. Weekend RequirementWeekends required On Call RequirementCall required must have own transportation Floating Requirement / LocationsFloating required between campuses Summary: Performs advanced cardiac and vascular circulation diagnostic exams using echo, ultrasound, and/or Doppler equipment. Responsibilities: Performs ultrasound examinations of the cerebral, peripheral, and abdominal vessels to assist the physician in the diagnosis of disorders affecting the circulation May perform therapeutic procedures such as pseudoaneurysm compression Records and maintains test data and prepares preliminary interpretations of test results, and performs other duties as assigned Depending on the hospital department, may also perform routine abdominal, small parts, breast, OB/GYN, and other vascular ultrasound procedures Assist physicians with biopsies, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and needle localization procedures W ork Schedule: Varying shift - 12 hour and 8 hours depending on the need.
