rewards package. VHA Physician Total Rewards . Highlights of this
position include: Starting base salary: $325,000 - $390,000 per
year Daily schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Full
and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery from any
U.S. State Performs inpatient or outpatient cardiovascular
consultation services. Perform standard diagnostic and
interventional electrophysiology procedures temporary pacing and
permanent device (Pacemakers, Loop recorders, AICD and
bi-ventricular devices) implantation, direct current
cardioversions, electrocardiogram interpretation, Holter monitor
and ambulatory rhythm interpretation. Perform standard diagnostic

bi-ventricular devices) implantation, direct current
cardioversions, electrocardiogram interpretation, Holter monitor
and ambulatory rhythm interpretation. Serves as academic faculty
for cardiovascular fellowship training program. Provides medical
consultative services and chart review for quality assurance
purposes or risk management. Requirements Board certified/eligiable
at least once in cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology.
Board certified/eligible in electrophysiology Full and unrestricted
license to practice medicine or surgery from any U.S. State We
offer: Education Debt Reduction Program (Student Loan Repayment):
Assistance with payment of outstanding medical school loans. Paid
Time Off: 50-55 days of paid time off per year (26 days of annual
leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year and
possible 5 day paid absence for CME) Retirement: Traditional
federal pension (5 years vesting) and federal 401K with up to 5% in
contributions by VA CME: Possible $1,000 per year reimbursement
(must be full-time with board certification) Contract: No Physician
