Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac & Telemetry – Virginia Start Date: February 2, 2026 Location: Alexandria, Virginia Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 12-hour shifts; every other weekend required; no call; floating if needed Highlights: Cardiac and Telemetry unit (not a step-down unit) Nurse-to-patient ratio of 5:1 to 6:1 depending on staffing Temp-to-perm opportunity available for the right candidate Full-time position with multiple openings (2 positions available) 12-hour day shifts with predictable every-other-weekend rotation Opportunity to work independently while managing routine and complex patient care Requirements: Active RN License in Virginia or valid Compact State license BLS certification from AHA required ACLS certification from AHA required Minimum 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred Ability to assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process Why It's a Great Opportunity: This role offers the chance to provide meaningful cardiac and telemetry care in a supportive environment with manageable patient ratios and a stable day-shift schedule.
