Job Description Job Description Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years RN experience required. An opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room to contribute clinical expertise in a fast-paced surgical environment. This travel position requires a skilled RN who is comfortable working AM shifts with on-call responsibilities, including weekends and holidays. The ideal candidate will have prior OR experience and certifications in ACLS and BLS. Cardiovascular training is preferred but not mandatory. Responsibilities: Provide perioperative nursing care in collaboration with surgeons and other healthcare professionals Prepare and maintain a sterile operating room environment Monitor patients condition during surgical procedures Manage surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment Respond promptly to emergencies and follow on-call protocols Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards Qualifications/Desired Experience: Active RN licensure Prior Operating Room nursing experience required BLS and ACLS certifications mandatory Cardiovascular (CV) training preferred but not required Ability to work AM shift hours from 6:30 AM to 2:45 PM Available for on-call coverage including weekends and holidays Schedule/Hours: Monday through Friday: 6:30 AM to 2:45 PM (5 x 8-hour shifts) 40 hours per week On call after shift hours and for weekend coverage This travel assignment offers exposure to diverse surgical cases in a supportive environment.
