Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Echo Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 03/30/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunity – Cardiac Sonographer – Louisiana Start Date: March 30, 2026 Location: Alexandria, Louisiana Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM; rotating weekend and on-call every 5th week Highlights: - Perform 6 to 8 echocardiograms per day in a full-time, weekday-focused schedule - Work primarily with adult echo patients, with occasional pediatric telemed cases - Assist with transesophageal echocardiograms and stress echo procedures - Rotating weekend and on-call schedule (every 5th week) for optimal work-life balance - Temp-to-perm opportunity available for the right candidate - Collaborate with cardiologists in a mission-driven healthcare environment Requirements: - High School Diploma required; graduate of an accredited school of Ultrasound Technology preferred - Two years of experience in the cardiology field preferred - Experience with stress testing preferred - BLS certification required - DCS, RCS, or RDMS through ARDMS or CCI required Why It's a Great Opportunity: This is an excellent chance to join a collaborative cardiology team committed to delivering high-quality diagnostic care in a supportive, patient-centered environment.
