Job Summary


The North American (NA) HR Shared Services Team Leader contributes to the efficient and effective delivery of the HR operations service to the NA region by:




Job Description
* Supervising day to day tasks to be executed by NA HR Delivery Services (HRDS) team (prioritization, assignments, and execution)
* Provide day to day support, guidance, and training to NA HRDS team members
* Contributing to the maintenance and development of scalable and high-quality HR processes, systems, and knowledge sources
* Being the point of escalation for complex and/or sensitive matters
* Interfacing with key stakeholders and executives both within and outside of HR as needed to resolve employee/candidate needs and subsequently refining existing processes to improve customer experiences over time
* Identifying key data trends and partnering with NA HRDS leadership and other HR stakeholders to ensure world class team process implementation and execution
* Partnering with HRDS Leadership to review resource allocation across HRDS teams to drive engagement and cross training
* As needed, provide support and guidance to peer HRDS teams





Essential Duties**
Duty % of Time Accountable for the day to day work supervision of NA HRDS. Provide support, training, and guidance of the NA HRDS team with the aim of maximizing team capability, knowledge, and focus on achieving SLAs and positive customer feedback. 30% Accountable for monitoring data integrity and quality of HR data, communications, and systems maintained by the HRDS team. 20% Prioritize, develop, and implement HR systems, processes and knowledge sources to facilitate continuous improvement in quality, efficiency, customer service and satisfaction. Identify ways to measure project potential output, and create and manage cross functional process improvement teams drive process improvements to implementation. 40% Liaise with HR leadership where appropriate to ensure team operational capability, performance, capacity, training needs and any issues impacting on the same are shared in a timely manner. Work with HR leadership to support resolution of the same. 5% Directly support all VP and above requests submitted to HR Delivery Services Teams. 5% Total: 100 % ** The above statements describe the general nature and level of work being performed in this job. Qualifications
* Demonstrable experience and ability to deliver high quality HR administration service
* Ability to effectively lead, support, guide, and motivate team on a day to day basis
* Ability to identify and drive strategic projects to completion under the purview of direct leadership for the operational improvement of the team
* Ability to effectively share and pass-on knowledge via various learning methodologies (one to one/ team training/ written guides etc)
* Good written communication ability
* Good knowledge of HR administration across North America
* Understanding and awareness of variety of employment legislation across North America. Able to operate and advise in complex employment legislation environment.
* Familiarity with HR systems (manual and computerised).
* Ability to work with HR leaders to implement changes to systems, processes and documentation
* Ability to contribute to the development and improvement of systems, processes and knowledge bases
* Understanding of pensions and benefits administration in NA region
* Ability to effectively manage competing, complex priorities in a fast paced environment
* Ability to identify and utilize trend data to partner with NA HRDS leadership for proactive process adjustment and improvement
