Job SummaryThe HR Business Partner (HRBP) 2 position is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization. The HRBP maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business unit's financial position, its midrange plans, its culture and its competition.

  • Collects and analyzes reports such as turnover, retention rates, exit interview, compensation reviews, etc. Complete and implement annual retention strategies.
  • Prepare for and represent STEH on all unemployment hearings while remaining professional and well versed on the case at hand.
  • Facilitate full cycle of Annual Performance Evaluation Process for all team members (creating grids, sending to leaders, following up, entering data, uploads), etc..
  • Coaches' managers on conflict resolution, facilitates problem solving, administers progressive discipline and authorizes termination of employment based upon administrative review. Manages exit and stay interviews process as well as reports regarding reason for leaving and instituting retention strategies based on responses received.
  • Conducts investigations on all issues brought to HR while keeping an unbiased view.
  • Sit on TMLC (Team Member Loyalty Council) to ensure all team member issues and concerns are addressed.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of applicable state and federal laws to ensure legal compliance (EEOC, DOL, ADA, FMLA, FLSA)
  • Partners with Leave Department and Leaders regarding team members on leave of absence. Attends required training on and off site.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned. Fill in where needed (PRC meetings, etc). Assist with and/or co-ordinate all special events (Service Awards Banquet, Retirement, Silver Committee, First Year Committee, etc).
