SR HR BUSINESS PARTNER CenturyLink (NYSE: CTL) is a global communications and IT services company focused on connecting its customers to the power of the digital world.CenturyLink offers network and data systems management, big data analytics, managed security services, hosting, cloud, and IT consulting services.The company provides broadband, voice, video, advanced data and managed network services over a robust 265,000-route-mile U.S. fiber network and a 360,000-route-mile international transport network.Visit CenturyLink for more information.Job Summary The SR HRBP is responsible for administering and overseeing the represented workforce leave of absence (LOA), compliance with business ADA requests, temporary medical restrictions and other related processes in accordance with legal and contractual requirements for the Company.The role will serve as a SME for business unit leaders related to a variety of LOA or time away from work related items.Job Description Responsible for the end to end case management, tracking and resolution of the following processes for our represented workforce: Temporary/permanent medical restrictions, requests for accommodations and all leaves of absence (ADA, FMLA, STD, USERRA, etc.).Works with BU leaders to determine reasonable accommodation for the employee based on essential job functions.Works with Legal to mitigate risk on complex and/or less common accommodations.Coaches managers on conducting interactive discussions and their obligations under our various union contracts and the ADA.Ensures ADA compliance for Sedgwick escalations, employee or manager concerns, and overlap with LR items (performance management, force adjustment, involuntary termination, etc.)Manages and administers all aspects of our leave of absence programs for our represented workforce in alignment with government regulation, company policy, contractual requirements and legal guidance Serve as the primary point of contact for represented LOA and accommodations requests for management, our HR team and 3rd party entities.Evaluate our current process and suggest/implement process improvement when applicable.Provide instruction to employees and training for managers and HR staff on appropriate procedure for all types of leaves.Develop, generate and present reports to analyze leave data and trends Provide accurate tracking of all leaves from start dates, to return dates, intermittent leaves, pay, benefits, etc.Oversee integration of leaves (i.e. Workman's compensation with FMLA) and integration with other functions.Ensure highest level of customer service and responsiveness throughout the LOA process with employees, managers, our HR team and 3rd party entities.80 Day Job Search Coordinator: Works with the union, managers and individual employees to effectively manage medically restricted employees for proper accommodations, placement into jobs or exit from the business in accordance to contractual requirements.SME on ADA and State leave laws.
