Vantage is currently looking for a Provider Services Call Center Assistant to work at our downtown Monroe location from 8:00AM - 5:00PM, Monday through Friday.

Job Summary: The Provider Services Call Center Assistant is responsible for providing excellent telephonic service and support to Vantage providers in a timely, professional, and courteous manner.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
--- Provide telephonic service and support as it relates to the Vantage provider network
--- Answer inbound calls by the 2nd ring unless on another call
--- Ensure providers are not placed on hold for longer than 2 minutes
--- Document specifics of each call in the call tracking module
--- Assist provider with questions regarding contracts, claims inquiries, etc., escalating as needed
--- Respond to provider inquiries regarding claims by researching & working with other departments to ensure accurate processing as needed
--- Provide ongoing provider training on portal usage, assisting with any questions and/or issues that arise
--- Respond to voicemail at least twice daily
--- Respond to email and/or fax inquiries within same business day

Marginal Duties:
--- Assist with various projects as needed
--- Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
--- High school diploma or equivalent
--- Customer service experience required; telephonic customer service experience preferred
--- Minimum of 1 year of experience in corporate office setting preferred
--- Excellent phone etiquette skills are a must
--- Ability to type minimum of 40WPM with accuracy
--- Ability to talk and type simultaneously
--- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point, Publisher, Access, etc.)
--- Highly organized and efficient with strong attention to detail
--- Ability manage multiple priorities simultaneously
--- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
--- Excellent interpersonal skills
--- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff
--- Ability to work under stress in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment

Supervisory Responsibilities:
--- This position has no supervisory responsibilities

Supervision Received:
--- Works under general supervision of the Provider Services Supervisor

Working Conditions:
--- This position operates in a professional office environment
--- This is a full-time position (40 hours/week)
--- Overtime may be required
--- Travel may be required
