Job Summary

The HRIS Architect will report to the Director of HRIS and will function as architect for all HR Systems at CenturyLink. This position will primarily focus on 2 key areas within HR Technology, 1) SuccessFactors Cloud Integrations to external and internal cloud and on-premise environments, 2) staying abreast of future HR technology trends and ultimately influencing CenturyLink's HRIS roadmap.

Job Description

Translate business requirements into technical, architectural and application strategy taking market and technical trends into consideration

Lead all SuccessFactors and SAP-HR integration efforts in conjunction with IT and consulting partners

Consult with HR Leaders, Business Owners and other HRIS team members to develop future state HR Systems Road Map

Diagram current and future state HR Systems architecture

Function as HR technical lead on all large-scale SAP-HR and SuccessFactors projects by providing architectural guidance to a team of HRIS Analyst

Function as HR technical lead on any merger & acquisition projects

Identify opportunities for improving the effectiveness of processes, systems, and reports

Questioning the status quo regarding previous system requirements and design decisions to ensure further standardization and simplification of overall HR Systems design

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in economics, statistics, human resources, finance, information technology or related field or equivalent experience

At least 10+ years of applicable Human Capital Management systems experience; 8+ with Master's Degree

Deep understanding of software architecture & design principles

Advanced knowledge of technology standards (OData, SOAP, XML, Rest APIs)

Advanced knowledge and experience in a Java development environment

Working knowledge of SuccessFactors OData APIs

Working knowledge of SAP Cloud Platform Integration (formerly HCI) or other cloud middleware tool

Experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is a plus

Strong database management skills including the ability to merge, clean and analyze large amounts of data

Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain data and findings to a non-technical audience

Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities

Demonstrated strong attention to detail, problem-solving, critical thinking and analytical skills

Ability to take a brief explanation of an idea and turn it into an actionable strategic plan, with very little guidance from leadership
