Job Description NEW Medical Laboratory Technician / Medical Technologist Location: Nashville, Tennessee Schedule: Monday–Friday | 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM Hiring a Medical Laboratory Technician or Medical Technologist for an overnight position in a fast-paced clinical laboratory environment. This role is ideal for detail-oriented professionals who are passionate about accuracy, quality, and patient care behind the scenes. Job Summary The Medical Lab Tech/Technologist is responsible for the daily processing and testing of patient specimens. This role performs routine laboratory procedures, ensures quality standards are met, and supports overall lab operations. Key Responsibilities Receive, process, and prepare specimens according to established laboratory protocols Perform testing procedures and produce accurate, reliable results Interpret and report test findings with precision Meet departmental productivity and quality benchmarks Follow all laboratory safety procedures and compliance standards And more! Education & Certification Requirements Associate’s degree in chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science (or medical technology) ASCP or AMT certification required Must maintain continuing education to keep certification active Preferred Qualifications At least one year of laboratory experience (preferred but not required) Students or recent graduates eligible to sit for the ASCP or AMT certification exams are encouraged to apply Interested!?
